Silicoat 017

It is formulated for pure aluminium finish as Topcoat. A Zinc Aluminium base coat 007 is recommended where high grade of Anti corrosion properties is required or a zinc nickel plating is highly recommended. However 017 can be used directly on Metal as a protective coating.
On curing the coating offers brilliant weather resistance, anti corrosion properties, abrasion resistance and good aesthetics. It contains PTFE and other additives to give low Coefficient of friction on the coated surface. You get a waxy feel which gives brilliant dry lubrication properties.
